Thank you sir. I am so excited to own a gimbal. Just bought me a crane 3s. Still haven't had the time to really take it to flight. But will be in a few days. Gotta get it to stop wobbling/shakes. I'm hoping it is just my batteries weren't fully charged. I already went through the steps of balancing the 3 motors so I'm sure that's not the issue ( I hope) when u start your academy training I will also be attending that.

Congratulations, I enjoy your channel a lot. How do you find using RSC2 with that extra handle that sticks backwards towards you?I am asking because I have some mixed feelings and I am considering to return it. When used in upright position the arm sticks centrally backwards and I like the support it gives but I would rather see it being a bit on the side rather than in the center as it disturbs. RSC2 has a built in briefcase mode, why did you decide to buy an extra handle for it to use more like briefcase mode in RS2? I love the L-grip you are showing in the video, it is the simplest but yet best accessory I found for RSC2 so far.
@PeterMakholm3 жыл бұрын
The back handle was sent to me for review by Ulanzi. The thing I like about it is that it enables me tor seamless transition from upright to briefcase mode. And then I can flip the handle down so it works as a dual handle setup. It also provide better balance when walking around with the gimbal and easier to set down. Video is in the making.

I was shopping for drones when I first heard about gimbals. After a quick Google search I ended up at this video. I am frustrated with the lack of detail to anything important. I know balancing the gimbal on all three Axes is crucial and takes time. He devoted an entire video just for balancing. Then it was the same thing with the settings, he rushed right through the settings portion just like the balancing portion. I was frustrated that he didn't bother to show anything to do with the setting screen, then told us to use auto setting, but he uses advanced. Yes, he made detailed settings videos, but at how many more videos do we need to watch? He was adjusting his settings and said that he likes to have maximum power to each motor, but never says why. If he had mentioned why he likes the power to the motors, it would have prevented me from screaming at him and the television like a psycho. "WHY, WHY DO YOU LIKE MAXIMUM POWER TO THE MOTORS? WHAT DOES THAT DO? I DON'T WANT TO WATCH AN ENTIRE VIDEO ON HOW TO ADJUST THE ADVANCED SETTINGS, I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHY YOU SET IT UP THAT WAY." If you have a $12,000 camera that weighs 15 lbs and the motors require that much power to move the camera then I'm not interested in watching his 15 minute video on advanced settings. My camera is from Walmart and weighs 3ozs. The motors only need a fraction of that power to move it. I am obviously exaggerating to get my point across, but I think it's necessary. He made a 10 minute video on gimbal basics, briefly going over the entire device, and calls it, "From Beginner to Gimbal Pro." He is exaggerating to get his point across as well. Obviously no one will become a pro, but the video shares a wealth of useful information. If he is going to rush through the important parts he should be telling us what he is doing and why. The How is in his videos
@justinfife4243 жыл бұрын
I said at the beginning that I just figured out what this thing (gimbal) is and actually does. Watching him remove it from the box, and then assemble it, and adjust the settings, and do all the little steps to get his gimbal right I assumed that the device would make filming much easier with better quality. I watched the setup of this contraption designed for balance thinking once it's built anyone could pick it up and and film with it and there would be an obvious difference in quality. Apparently that's not the case after setting this thing up so meticulously he said on the video that it takes lots and lots and lots of practice to use. I was completely shocked. That defeats the purpose of it. I'll continue practicing freehand videos. The more I practice the steadier I become, and I'll show a superior range of motion compared to that contraption.

I was shopping for drones when I first heard the word gimbal and after a quick Google search I ended up at this video. I am frustrated with the lack of detail to the important parts. I understand that balancing the gimbal on all three Axes is super important and tedious and time-consuming which is why he devoted an entire video just for balancing. He zoomed right through the settings portion as well as the balancing. I was frustrated that he didn't even show the setting screen, and it was also frustrating that he told us to put it on auto, but he likes his advanced. Yes there are videos to show us how to do that as well, but the thing that upset me most is when he said he likes maximum power to each motor. I am well aware there's a whole other video on how to set that up too, but just one simple comment would have prevented me from screaming at you and the TV. WHY, WHY DO YOU LIKE MAXIMUM POWER TO THE MOTORS? WHAT DOES THAT DO? I DON'T WANT TO WATCH AN ENTIRE VIDEO ON HOW TO ADJUST THE ADVANCED SETTINGS, I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHY YOU SET IT UP THAT WAY. If you are a professional cameraman and have a $12,000 camera that weighs 15 lb and requires that much power to the motor I'm not interested in watching it 15 minute video because my camera is from Walmart and weighs 3 ounces. I am obviously exaggerating to get my point across, but I think it's necessary. You don't have to explain how to do everything in the 10 minute video of how to become a pro. I understand you're exaggerating about us becoming pros. I want to know why you do things and if I think it will help me, then I will go watch the video on how to do it. That part of my rant is over onto the gimbal itself. I said at the beginning that I just figured out what this thing (gimbal) is and actually does. Watching him remove it from the box, and then assemble it, and I just settings, and do all the little steps to get his gimbal right I had assumed that the device would make filming much easier with better quality immediately. I have to say I was shocked when he said it takes lots and lots and lots of practice to film with this thing. 😲. If that's the case, If I practice enough filming freehand I bet I can produce the same high quality video as someone with a gimbal. It just takes practice.
@PeterMakholm3 жыл бұрын
