He's been playing that song for 50 years, and he sounds just as crisp as the first time. Long live Martin !!

These days, it's better. Have you heard Ian sing in the past 20 years? Having seen them both fairly recently and going to see Martin again next month, I can attest that I enjoy Martin's live shows better now than those done by Ian/Tull.

Martin's sister, so we had heard, used to run The Pickwick Inn in S. Devon, circa 1968...early 70s, so me and my mates, all right-on Tull freaks used to go down there drinking every weekend, hoping to get a look at "that bloke from Jethro Tull"...never saw him there but we had some great piss-ups! Saw Tull many times since and met Martin as well. He's a real guitarist's guitarist. Never sat back and rested on his laurels, and, just like my other favourite player, Jeff Beck, never stopped improving. Martin Lancelot Barre...long may you run!

Oh man I wish I has known about this show. I think Martin's guitar solo on Aqualung that I saw performed live back in the 80's in Glens Falls was one of the greatest musical experiences of my life. Certainly Martin is one of, if not my favorite rock guitarist of all time and Jethro Tull is my all-time favorite band. This Martin Barre Band is great, too. How'd I miss this?

It becomes evident (like a brick falling on your foot) why Martin Turner had Barre play on his solo album. I would love to hear Barre jam with Wishbone Ash.

Thanks. This is excellent. I saw The Doors in Phoenix Arizona a few years ago, not long before Ray died. It was just Ray and Robbie. I missed them with Jim and John at Dinner Key in Miami many years ago. It's a shame that they didn't have a singer that sounded like Jim on their tour. GREAT Vocals on this video. I saw Tull in Miami, around 1971 I think it was. Always been a fan.

I’ve seen two separate interviews with him recently and in both he spoke on the fact that, if he didn’t have his solo nailed in 1 or maybe 2 takes, then his guitar solo turned into a flute solo.
