How to edit the motion trail blue effect from ESPN's new NBA Playoffs commercial! This effect caught my eye on TV so I decided to break it down in Adobe After Effects for you to use in your sports video edits!

In this video, I break down an awesome effect from ESPN's new NBA Playoffs commercial. This motion blur trail effect looked so cool on tv and seemed like it would be pretty challenging, but surprisingly ended up being very achievable with the tools available natively inside of Adobe After Effects!

The only different way I could think of using cc wide time or echo instead of pixel motion. But I never thought of exporting png sequences to make it easier for effects till now thank you for that

Tried echo and it wasn’t bad, didn’t think about cc wide time though! Might do some more messing around

I think you have to add it to the top of all the other effects
