Thanks for the video. Lots of projects going on. Thanks for explaining more on how your cattle operation works. It appears your cattle operation is well run and you all do a great job with it. Thanks for telling the story. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.

It's not a new piece, it's a new used piece, lol Thanks guys for sharing your family and life. The best is the KIDS!!! My kids grew up paddling a pirogue, and playing in the bayous. We use the same bladder tank on the boats for the company I work for in the oil fields, but I use a fiberglass tank at home for the well, no city water at all. When inland shrimping is in season, I'll take my skiff out and trawl for shrimp on my days off the offshore boat. Don't excuse yourself for working with one hand, I've only had 1 hand working since I was shot in the head at 9 years old. I lost the use of my right side and voice for 1.5 years, I never regained the use of my right arm. And I've proven I can hunt, trap, skin nutria to sell the pelts, shrimp and became a Captain on large vessels in the oil fields. Never say Can't! Glad you guys decided to make parody songs, need to get DAD on some Country parodies!!! lol I wouldn't expect you to do Cajun parodies, hehehe

@@video4sissies Wrong! in south Louisiana, we use PIROGUE's. look it up. It's a french word for canoe, but we don't use the word canoe. We only use the word canoe if we're up north of Tennessee, lol

Curious on what megacal your grower 2 ration is. Without knowing weight of each ingredient I would guess high 40’s. I never go over a 48-49 at that weight of calves.

What does "farm use only" mean on the door of your cab? (The one hauling the round bales). Is that a certification thing for insurance or tax, or something?
@Woodsfarms8 күн бұрын
Farm vehicles often have special license plates that can only be used for farm-related purposes. For example, in Kansas, farm trucks and tractors with a gross weight of over 54,000 pounds must have the words farm vehicle not for hire or farm use only painted on both sides of the vehicle and can only go like 150 miles from home or not out of state. And doesn’t require dot numbers Means something like this I think

@@Woodsfarms Thank you. That makes sense. I thought it must have something to do with road use fee requirements for commercial vehicles. DOT numbers - now I know.

How are feeder cattle working at these prices
@nathanpeterson3713 күн бұрын
Better return than drought stressed crops and low grain prices. Someone just tell us when the market is gonna turn around 😂😭

Keep selling cattle while the prices are high, and stay away from the "Shady Lady" club!!! I haven't had a steak in a while!!
