It amazes me how Luna tilts he head and listens to everything. Thank you Petey for taking care of her. They are blessed to have such a loving home. Thank you for the great care you give them. Your barn is always so clean.

There is a documentary about unusual animals companions . One story is about a blind horse and his seeing eye goat. The goat would take the horse from its corral through a wooded area to a grassy pasture. He would stay all day at the edge of the field until it was time to go home. Once they got back to the corral they parted ways ,they didn’t even pay attention to each other, the horse didn’t need help in the corral . There had been a bad wind storm that had blown down trees the horse had been trapped in between the downed limbs . The goat went to get help from the people to rescue his buddy.

I know that free advice is worth what you pay for it, nonetheless I have to say that having the steel siding of the barn as the walls of your stalls is out right dangerous. Horses can and have put their hooves and legs through the steel; kicking, rolling and even pawing. This causes terrible degloving wounds on the legs and serious damage to the hooves. I strongly urge you to get some plywood to attach to the inside of the stalls before one of your equids is injured.
