I miss hip-hop beats like this from the early 2000s. Lil Jon was a genius in arranging the whistles to go with the pimped out bangin' bass, ice cold claps & the sexy chick belting out the flirty line "How ya like that daddy" throughout the song. Back when you had a variety to choose from in terms of beats; crunk by Lil Jon, futuristic beats by Pharrell, Missy Elliott & Timbaland, old school by Kanye, slow/medium-paced gems by Darkchild & club stompers by Swizz & Dre. These were the days
@grizzlyer22005 жыл бұрын

I'M REPRESENTING FOR THOSE AGES 30-35. Me and my friend were in high school & from NC and I'm not sure of all the acts but it used to be a yearly concert at the Greensboro Coliseum called SuperJam. 102Jams radio station sponsored it. It would be like that year's most popular 10 Major Acts. Talking about LIT. TURNT. I remember the year I went PETEY PABLO performed and he was the last act. I loved this song! Got people up on the stage and everything, and I ONLY WENT ONCE cause I was a PRUDE (ALL THE WEED SMOKING INSIDE THE VENUE! MADE ME HIGH. NOT TO MENTION PEOPLE PASSING BLUNTS AROUND RANDOMLY! INSIDE THE VENUE! IN FRONT OF THE SECURITY GUARDS)I COULDN'T BELIEVE WHAT MY 14YR OLD EYES WERE SEEING! LMAO. THOSE WERE THE DAYS! And I be damned if I didn't see my boyfriend dancing with a girl on stage. Smh. He had no rhythm so we were laughing! They had to shut that shit down after a while cause it basically turned into chaos more & more each year and once somebody gets to shooting it's a wrap. Excuse me, I went down memory lane and couldn't find my way back! #Nostalgia
