I miss them. The only time I saw them live. Was in 1986 the same year John Schlitt joined Petra. I have only been able to see them in KZbin videos', since then.

They did retire in 2005 but it was 50 years ago this year the band formed in Indiana ( my home state). They are doing limited concerts in 2023.

John is honest with himself. He knows his limitations and had the band to tune down to help with high notes. 73 and still doing 1.5 hour sets is impressive.

Actually they “retired” in 2003. They only do one off shows or tours these days. And if you compare them to say Guns and Roses, who still tour, and whose singer doesn’t have a voice anymore, they are doing ok.
