It should work. I didn’t read the instructions (never do) and it does say to prime it. But no other sprayer I’ve seen or dealt with ever needed to be primed

This has been fixed. Well on mine. I purchased it yesterday. Also comes with a different clear hose now

does the tank drain all the way when making an application or is there residual left? I have an HD2000S and am debating upgrading to an HD4000 or 4050, but saw a comparison video saying the 4000 doesn't drain well.
