I've been following the ME262 story since the beginning..this is an absolutely fantastic way to end it!!! What a beautiful bird, finally! Oh, and by the way, if the plane can still fly, and you can stand outside with skin showing, it isn't cold yet...hahahaha...it's been in the -30's (celcius) here this week on the Canadian prairies...NOTHING is flying. hahahaha. So, thanks for putting up such a great video and keeping us inspired...only three to four months of winter left! woohoo!!

Even though I've never flown a plane (RC or otherwise) I honestly LOVE your guys' content. I get a little high every time I watch you guys geek out with so much passion and joy - its contagious! During covid I was daydreaming about flying a 262/fw-190D and stumbled upon your channel. You guys took me right back to a feeling of child-like excitement and wonder because I built a balsa wood, gas powered training Fokker with my dad at age 7 (but we never flew it). I had no idea people were still flying RC planes, let alone how far it has evolved!! Since you're in love with the 262, I have to recommend the book "A Higher Call", which features an INCREDIBLE first-hand account of the last days of flying 262's out of hidden bases and using the autobahn as airfields (while ALSO being outnumbered 300+ to 1 in the skies). This was hugely amazing flight and that is even an understatement. I have flown this model once and it was crazy difficult and it needed full punch all the time and so nervous on the axes that I was happy to get it to the ground in one piece with only a little scratch. When I saw your previous videos with it I just left it alone but now I can see that with some adjustments it can be a good flyer. Full throttle it’s really fast and on landing still acceptable slow. No steering wheel no brakes yet stopping this little beauty only one meter from the car at landing is insane. Or better, a once in a lifetime landing. What a way to end 2021 my friends !

Great to see you got it in the air! I fly mine with steerable retracts and the ground handling is spot on. It may feel tail heavy if you put the power on too suddenly. The motors are under the wings and will pull the nose up so on take off, let the speed increase evenly and let it do the lift off with not much elevator. I have mine at the manual cg. Great plane, very fast even on 3s! Happy new Toys!
