H-King Tiger Moth de Havilland DH82a 1400mm with SAITO FA72 B Maiden flight

This is a beautiful rendition of an old favorite and is based on one of the Cambridge Flying Groups de Havilland DH82a Tiger Moth aircraft. The original aircraft was built in 1944. It comes in the yellow and silver livery of the London Aero Club. This model is made of balsa and can be powered by either glow or electric.
The de Havilland DH.82 Tiger moth was designed by Geoffrey de Havilland in the 1930s. It was operated by the Royal Air Force and many other air forces as a two-seat primary trainer before and during World War II. It has been used all other the world with many examples still flying.
As well as determining the power type this model also requires some assembly as well as fitting of the motor/engine and other electronics. It is recommended to use a 750W electric motor or a .46 2 Stroke or .70 4 Stroke engine. It will require 4 servos for electric or 5 servos for gas setup.
The Tiger Moth is a superb flier and gives a distinguished presence in the air. A must for every hanger.

Another great flight of a well built plane by Captain Blaz. I think the engine suits the plane perfectly, soft landing gear is a common problem and an easy fix. I think it takes some serious skill to navigate those mole holes. Cheers from Australia

Robert I bought a audio module from Mr RC World uk for 37 pounds which is postage, module rx connector, Rotax engine wav file and speaker . Its most impressive for the money plugs into any spare socket / tx switch..I suggested they send you one to test, so I hope they do... You can put any audio onto the mini sd card. al

We want your Tiger Moth to last many flights brothers,from experience put plenty of two part fuel proofer all around the bare wood from bulkhead one to about the rear cockpit,hot fuel oil creeps along the longerons and wrecks the joints,you cannot beat the Tiger Moth they fly beautifully.

Yes, maidened mine 4 days ago. Flew just as nicely as yours. It's electric power though. Tons of power. Wa bought 2nd hand at the field. It was a kit build I think. Don't know if they could get it to fly. A bit of a fix up here and there and good to go. Yes good plane

Great Bird. With a Laser 70 you could even hide the exhaust behind the cowling and they run much better than Saitos from my experience.
