The way the PIA is written: Only the Minister of Petroleum can issue import license for petroleum products. Nobody can import any petroleum products if the refineries available can meet local demand. Imports are only allowed if it has been established that there is a local shortage of petroleum products. Only local refinery owners and approved suppliers can import. Depot owners Association, PETROAN and IPMAN cannot get any import license because Dangote Refinery can meet our local demands for PMS.

No investor sets up oil Refinery with the intention to produce substandard product that will be sold into the international market. Aliko is crying foul because the room to estort Nigerians is been questioned and quarried.

I do not agree with esele, that is not the truth, the independent marketer are looking out for the citizens, if theirs will be cheaper and affordable for the citizens, then it's a welcome development..

Government should reduce the price per barrel sell to Dangota refinery for Nigerian to get cheaper price at the pump if the government is a true responsible government.Yusuf Bomborlai Freetown

That will not work. Do you know why it won't work? Because Dangote can sell the fuel ⛽ to overseas buyers and make more profit. Most of we human beings were too greedy simple as that.

This is your problem you guys don't see beyond your noises even if you look because of your hate of Mr Dangote and your monopoly definition,my idea is simply supply the quality of crude oil you need for your use /consumption NNPC office in Mr Dangote 's refinery we were told has to know how much is supplied to Mr Dangote that will be for Nigerian use only that enjoy the cut down Price of crude oil for the price to reduce at the pump, you instead remain fixation acquiescing Mr Dangote of monopoly and making money when the man is only trying to help others.,he still buy crude oil for outside to run his refinery, so he doesn't depends on Nigerian crude Yusuf Bomborlai Freetown
