The Honda X-Blade 160 ABS is a sports commuter by Honda. The sports commuter segment in Bangladesh is one of the most popular bike segments. The youth of the country look for a bike that can be both fast and save money by burning less fuel. Honda has tried their best to bring a strong contender to the Naked Sports category by introducing the Honda CB Hornet. With their introduction to the Honda X-Blade 160, they totally stormed the market.
Honda is one of the largest and most reliable motorcycle manufacturers in the world. Honda is also considered as one of the Japanese Giants. Honda has solidified its name in the MotoGP scene as well. Honda is also the present home to one of the best MotoGP riders of all time, Marc Marquez. The Honda CBR is one of the most popular motorcycle series in the world. People went nuts when Honda released the Honda Fireblade.
The Honda X-Blade 160 ABS comes with Anti-lock Braking System. This allows the bike to brake without locking the wheel. This also improves the braking distance. The ABS also allows the bike to brake without losing traction on wet roads. This bike comes with a single-channeled ABS.
The Honda X-Blade 160 ABS comes with an LED headlight. The headlight allows the rider to have very good visuals at night. The headlight design is also very futuristic. The headlight almost looks like a Transformer’s face. The taillight is also LED, and has been completely newly designed like a “T”. However, the indicators are bulbs.
The Honda X-Blade 160 ABS comes in four colors:
Matte Marvel Blue.
Matte Axis Grey.
Pearl Spartan Red.
Pearl Igneous Black.
All four colors variants have similar decals.
The Honda X-Blade 160 ABS comes with a fully digital instrument cluster. The instrument cluster comes with the basic information, such as the speedometer, odometer, RPM counter, trip meter. It also gets a clock and a gear position indicator.
Physical Attributes:
The Honda X-Blade 160 ABS is an average heightened bike with an average saddle height of 785mm. The bike is suitable for people who are shorter than 5’9”, as people taller than that would have a hard time adjusting to the bike. The bike also has a 12liter fuel capacity, which is probably the largest of this segment.
The length, width, height, and weight of the Honda X-Blade 160 ABS are 2103mm, 786mm, 1115mm, and 141kg respectively. The bike is one of the heaviest bikes in the 160cc segment, which makes it stable at high speeds. The bike also has a wheelbase of 1347mm, which is a perfect wheelbase for this segment of bikes. Although the length may be a problem when going around traffic. The bike is also thin and easy to grasp with two legs.
Engine and Transmission:
The Honda X-Blade 160 ABS comes with a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, and 162cc air-cooled engine. The engine is of BS-VI grade, which means air pollution by this bike will be significantly less. There are both self and kick-start of the bike. The engine pumps out a maximum of 14.13BHP of power at 8500rpm and 13.90Nm of torque at 6000rpm. The maximum torque and power kick in quite early in this bike, which makes it really fun to ride.
The Honda X-Blade 160 ABS comes with a basic wet, multi-plate clutch. The bike also has a 5-speed gearbox, which has a linear power delivery to the engine.
Brakes, Suspensions, and Wheels:
The Honda X-Blade 160 ABS comes with a dual-disc setup. The front and rear both have disc brakes. The front brakes work well. The front brake also comes with ABS, which makes it quite good at braking. The ABS allows the bike to not lock up during sudden braking situations.
The Honda X-Blade 160 ABS comes with telescopic forks at the front as suspension. The front suspension works well on bumpy roads. The rear suspension is an adjustable mono-shock suspension.
The Honda X-Blade 160 ABS comes with alloy wheels. The front and rear wheels of the bike are 80/100-17 and 130/70-17 respectively. The rear tire is perfect for the bike. However, the front tire could have been a bit thicker. A 90 section or 100 section tire at the front would have done wonders for the bike.

ভাই সাম্প্রতিক সময়ে কোন বাইকের মাইলেজ কত থেকে প্রশ্ন টা মনে হয় পরিবর্তন হওয়া উচিত একই বাইকে যে কোন ফুয়েল পাম্পের তেলে মাইলেজ কেমন। দিনকাল যে ভাটা পরছে ভাই... যুগের দাবি বলে মনে হয়। ভাইসব কি বলেন?
