Thank you petrol ped. I just got back from Motech, and had a Remus race exhaust done on my Mini F60 which doesn't have the OPF. Sounds amazing, and it's all thanks to your video. Microphones don't do the sound justice. Sounds much deeper in person 😂.

Me too. Idk if it's an age thing. I feel as though the pops and bangs on ALL cars have passed their 'sell by date' and that has happened due to manufacturers getting silly with the fake noises. If people maybe are unsure if a noise is fake or real, they aren't going to get complimented on what could just be a 'brrm brrrrm brrrrrmm' in the speakers or a speaker hidden outside the car against the tailpipe. I actually love the true sound of my 2020 F56 Cooper S .

Going back through your videos with Charlie Clubman since I now have an F60 JCW. I think the factory setup is actually really, really good and props to Mini for actually delivering a factory sports exhaust on a turbo 4 that sounds pretty good. That being said this Remus Race exhaust definitely dials it up to "11" and sounds great!

Can`t say I like the sports mode, but the normal mode is pretty good and more deep sounding than the earlier exhaust. I`m not sure why you would want all the popping and banging, but it`s your choice I don`t have to listen to it except when you video it!!!. Mrs Petrol Ped`s gonna kill you!!!!!

These days we are spoilt for choice on performance upgrades etc, I think its bloody fantastic. Yes it costs a bit, but alot of businesses have afterpay options. I just bought my new Michelin pilot sport 4s and I didn't have the cash so I afterpayed it $40 a fortnight, happy days. Clubman sounds great, well done another interesting video. Cheers DFDU 😎

Awesome race exhaust motech sorted my m135 on Friday the day before you went up Mike said your would have the race system once you heard it 👍message me we are close would be good to meet up and compare cars maybe at the goodwood cafe. Peter..it is hard to judge on an iPad but in the 1960”s we were pleased with a Pecophase straight through silencer for about £15...times change but not the excitement. I hope you are really pleased and that you are not deafened by boom on the motorway....that old Peco system rendered your ears numb at 65!!! Enjoy it well...safe driving! tichard😃😃😃😃😃

Ok, here goes. This is as good a place as any, and it's time somebody says it: It's a pity that probably every youtube car channel is fronted by extroverts. Understandable, but it means that us introverts do get bored by the continual - sigh - err - inane things that extroverts go for: loud exhausts, extra noise piped in, driftability, coloured stitching, fancy headlight 'dances' when the car's unlocked, "look at me" styling, and beauty defined by sparkly bits. Us introverts want the same speed, good handling, quality, and interesting features as you extroverts, but we don't want to be noticed: inconspicuous looks, subtle colours, quiet exhausts, planted traction. To the extroverts who will jump down this comment's throat, I say, hey, don't be so narrow-minded. Introverts don't whine at the endless collective volume and intrusiveness of extroverts, so when an introvert pipes up on occasion, and, shock horror, disagrees with you - well, deal with it and chill. ... But if course we continue to watch and enjoy all your vids, PP.

Agree 100%...in PP case its called anything to download a video... As you say nothing at all wrong with the standard exhaust sound in fact it sounds great (I have the same car in Rebel Green) also.. the original 19inch wheels look great as well far better than the over expensive ones he swapped them out for.

I approve very much. You have chosen a very nice exhaust system and the correct tips. It’s always a worry when you change the exhaust as well thoughts rush through your head - is it going to be loud enough or too loud or will it pop and bang on the overrun. That sounds like a good compromise.

I am very tempted to go for the valved sport exhaust from REMUS on my 2020 OPF equipped JCW Clubman as it really lacks the sound. One question, on comfort mode (Green/Mid) when cruising around, is there a boomy noise or drone? I had this happen on previous cars where the mid-resonator was removed but I hope on the Clubman, since it retains the mid-res and OPF it will be similar to stock when the valves stay closed? I really don't want to ruin another car and have to revert to the stock system afterwards.

A Remus muffler transformed a Subaru Wrx I owned. No cabin drone just nice sound. The Magnaflo muffler was like a machine gun at 60 mph. The drone at slow speed made me cringe. Price, yes, Remus was much more costly.
