I have a 3 month old Coton de Tulear. Watching your video lets me know what’s ahead of me in the future. I had a full coat old English sheep dog whose fur was a beast to keep up. Told myself never again turned around and was gifted a Coton.🤪😳😍

Cotton de Tulear is so beautiful dog! And the hair is so so pretty! After grumping this dog often looks not more so typical, but the short hair is practical

Very nice video! We also have a coton de tulear ourselves, but he doesn't like to be regularly groomed. Do you have any advice on how to get you dog to enjoy grooming? Thank you and best regards from Slovenia! 🐶

FABULOUS!! Thank you so much. I have two Cotons, Baba and Blue. Baba has a full coat, Blue has a sort of puppy cut, but legs quiet short. Twice a day we are out in the woods and both love puddles. Not easy to keep their feet and beards clean. Super Tip the wide tooth comb.... I think me using a smaller one is part of the problem. Wonder how often you brush Brahms, daily? He is wonderful!! The table and dryer are made by Aeolus. The table is the round table with storage. The dryer is the stand dryer.

Hi, I love your videos! I have a full coat cotton coated Havanese that’s currently 11 months old and has about 6.5 inches of hair. Do you have any tips for dealing with mats? Best shampoos and conditioners? I brush her daily but her hair still manages to tangle. Sometimes the tangles are so bad I have no choice but to cut them out which breaks my heart. I also own a silky Havanese and the grooming maintenance isn’t even comparable! It’s amazing how different their coats are!

I have a maltese and I struggle to brush out his tangles. He will never stay still even if I do small sections and reward him. Do you have any recommendations for detangling? He’s not terribly matted and I can get most of the tangles out, but at this point whenever there is a more stubborn tangle I have to cut it out.

I see this problem frequently. Once you have dematted, or have had your dog dematted a few times. A pattern of behavior can set in with your dog, causing him to overreact at the instant that he perceives that you are going to brush out even the slightest of tangles. I have even seen dogs refuse to allow you near an area of the body where a mat was brushed out previously.
