Get a bottle of touch up paint to go over that spot where ot got nicked. It'll save you time and money, I believe if you were to go to a Mopar website you could order it. Or maybe from the dealer I'm not quite 100% on that though.

Should mention handling differences in your next video lol. I suspect it makes more difference than you expected, but all cars are different. I didn't expect much when I bought my strut brace and I think it's a game changer.

Nice vid. Just a thought on the paint damage. That may not have been from bad quality control, but from shipping. Looked like the nuts were taped around the brace, so I wonder if that damage wasn't gouged by the nuts in transit? Anyway, ever put any thought into affiliate links to get some kind of kickback from show casing these products (if we buy them, that is)?

I went the extra step and drilled into the frame on my oem mopar brace. wasnt a big deal at all and it works better than when it wasnt screwed down.

I got Mopars on my Charger, front and rear. The rear can be a pain to install but they are a great option to add support to your car besides adding a roll cage

I am wondering why you did not get the SRT petty garage strut tower brace? The only spot you drill is in to the one spot on the cowl bar in the back like the Mopar one, not the fire wall very easy.

John Nurczyk hell no..... the Razors Edge brace is the best. it replaces the stock brace on the car instead of drilling into it.

Using a torque wrench. Any local auto parts store should have one you can borrow in the parking lot.

Nope! The only warranty that can be voided is the part that gets replaced. Example: Doing exhaust mods will void your exhaust warranty. The only thing that can potentially void your entire power-train warranty are larger mods such as superchargers, headers, tuning, etc.

I have found that the car feels more stiff/rigid on the initial turn-in of a corner and also seems to have slightly less body roll! Overall I'm actually very happy with it!

rjburston Terrible brace! Razors edge from speedlogix is the best in my opinion. You take the stock brace off and the new one takes its place. I ordered the front and rear for my car. I think you get the best performance by doing both.

I bought a 16 challenger scat and have been watching your upgrades mods etc. was thinking to go mopar strut but after watching this vid I might go with petty (powder coating is a great option to have over the mop) Question though... How do you feel about not having it mounted to the firewall? Do you think you'll be lacking anything because of it?

After having the brace on for a while now I can say I actually feel a difference on the turn-in of corners and I like it a lot. Not sure how different it would feel mounted to the firewall but I'm happy with it!

RP Productions the ones that mount to the back side - it doesn't mount to the firewall it mounts to the oem brace. The firewall is about 4-6 inches further back. Fwiw. Thx for the vid.
