Petty shop style Imili mittai | ಹುಳಿ ಮಿಠಾಯಿ | Childhood memories of 90's kids | Puli mittai recipe
90s (1990th decade) kids surely have the memory of eating Imli candy, that is tamarind candies which were available with a stick. I show you how to prepare a tasty home made tamarind candy which has same taste like those were available in petty shops. Ingredients required are very few like tamarind, jaggery, salt and green chillies/bird eye chillies and a little ghee to grease the hands. Total tie required to cook is 1 hour 15 minutes. Tiny balls should be made only after the cooked mixture is turned into room temperature. Again allow them to cool completely and store for many days. And enjoy by eating whenever you feel like eating.
