The JAG RESCUE KIT is a ready-to-use, reversible rescue kit designed to easily pick-off and lower a victim. In this video, we'll show you how to use it in the event that a fallen worker is suspended on their fall-arrest lanyard.

Kinda mad at Bartlett arborist supply, they have so much petzl but not the Jag. That's a lifesaver (literally) from having to do it the old school way

The device he is pulling on to lift the rescue target is a double pully system with progress capture. I think its a 4:1 simplex system. You can build one for a rescue bag. its two double pulleys and a prusik loop. The only issue I see with this is, depending on height, you cannot be certain the ammount of rope you have to descend the target is long enough.

Here you will present the greatest stupidity in working at heights. Fastening the absorber to a point on the back when falling means that the climber is unable to save himself or herself and has no chance at all. Assuming that the climber fell because he had a heart attack, the first one will die before the second climber reaches him.

@@jackgallegos5246 I have been working at heights since 1998. It is best not to use the absorber, a better option would be a dynamic rope as a lanyard, tied only from the front point of the harness. Then when you fall off, you will have a dynamic, short and safe flight. When, for example, such a worker suffers a heart attack, the mountaineer rescuing him has an easier task, because the point on the back is best for transporting the injured person. 🤝🇵🇱
