That was a great tutorial - I'm almost tempted to have a go at replacing the struts on the boot of my Peugoet 206 CC myself. Great teamwork - father, son and ferral cat! :)

@@zyndol I replaced the struts as in your tutorial and it worked well. To secure the seat belt for unwinding, I fixed it with a locking pliers. All in all it took approx. 1,5h to change tboth struts.

I’ve just replaced them without removing anything. The bottom connection can be removed with a long straight pry bar and popped back on. It took me about 5 minutes.

I just manageed to replace mine today without removing the seats. It took me 30 minutes for both of them.

Nice interior! And u’re a good team :) I have a Peugeot 206cc too , in Australia xD the rear parcel shelf actuator for the roof is leaking hydraulic oil 😭. It’s nearly impossible to get the part, i finally found one but bloody expensive 😞

Cars always are! We have just had a front spring snap on a Scirocco. A Corrado that needs welding, new tyres and the headlight reflectors resilvering. It never stops lol.

Is it not possible to pop off the strut bottoms without removing the seat belt mechanisms?

It is, you can lever them off from the boot and lever back on but risk damage.

How long are those boot struts for 206cc

Not sure a freind ordered them and it was their car. I believe they just ordered boot struts off ebay specified for the 206cc. They also had adjustment on them.
