The DC charger connector didn't release because you haven't authorized yourself at the station. It is clearly visible on the charger display that it requires authorization to stop. Just as you need RFID or app to start it, you need to use one of those to stop as well so nobody walking by can interrupt your charge. It eventually released because it finished charging to 100% and the car was unlocked. You were lucky to be so close to full! Anyway, I have exactly the same e-208, but with only 15k km on it so far. OBD reports ~95% health, which almost hasn't changed since I got it in June at 6k km, so I added 9000km over 8 months with 0.25% degradation change. It would be interesting to compare the OBD reported health to the proper measurement you did, to see how well BMS estimates it 🙂

Nice and very interesting video. Maybe I'm wrong (and stupid), but I'm missing some essential information. It drove 90K+ kms, but from what year is that e208? - Isn't the deg bigger in the first period of use? - I've been told that too much fast charge ain't doing the battery any good Which way was the e208 charged by the (former) owner/user? only AC (household or public) or DC (Fast charge) If both what was the ratio On what % power level did the (former) owner/user? charge? Was it at < 10% (almost drained) or 50% (half full) or was it on various %%)? Was there anything extra used during the test that could drain the battery (like Climate control) Questions, questions :s

Great video! I was considering buying that exact blue car, the Aviloo certificate definitely was reassuring since the mileage was high and nobody has extensive data on Stellantis batteries so far :). Interestingly I rented a newer 2022 e208 after the supposed "efficiency upgrade facelift" , with only 14000km and the car was still eating through the battery at 130+kmh. Which is consistent with other reviews online, this car is best driven at 100-110kmh or less.

There is a software update for e208 that improves fast charging time. Probably that update also reduces the net capacity to 44kwh

can you get a reliable reading when going so fast? -i mean there should be a lot of heat loss going these speeds compared to going 90 km/h.

I think it makes not much of a difference, otherwise we should be driving 40 so that losses can be even less.

Did you check what is the carscanner SOH reading?
