Peugeot 3008 V6 Snow Racer || 4 Wheel Steering Monster - Montée des Légendes 2018

This is Benjamin Riviére at the wheel of his 340Hp/1030Kg Peugeot 3008. The uncommon thing here is that this thing was built to compete on Snow and Ice and not on Tarmac. So it was definitely interesting to watch the All Wheel Drive, 4 Wheel Steering Peugeot Sport built machine tackling the Montée des Legendes on some Demo runs as the fastest way to go through corner was powersliding...

I had a 3008 for 2 years and loved it in GT Line version. It was a beautiful car and Peugeot prove again that they can engineer an absolute screamer of a car from the most unexpected source. Superb, love that V6 and that instant turn in from that 4 wheel drive and steering. I'd love one.

Why such thin wheels? Because it is meant for ice racing, where narrow spiked tyres work better. You cannot fit traditional racing on those wheelarches!

It's not a real roadlegal car in any way, it is a cage with an engine. This comes from ice racing, where all cars have to look a bit like a normal car but nothing is a real car.

I think trophé Andros cars have a top speed of something like 80Mph / 130kph , because the tracks they race on don't have long straights and are.. well, covered with ice and snow.

Even with the super-high final gear ratio and the thin wheels the poor thing seems to struggle to keep those wheels spinning. See 0:18 Good effort by the driver but c'mon... If you're gonna enter an event and show off, do it properly. Take example from Ken Block.
