I bought a SH 307 2.0 HDi 110 hp from 2003 with FAP... One of the first cars with FAP. In 2 years I made 40.000 km and I only did the periodic filter+oil change and I had to change the final stage exhaust which started to fail after 17 years... 😁 The FAP was a bit lazy and the turbo feeling was only felt at 3000 RPM but after adding some additives and driving it sporty now it is really good, I can feel the tirbo kick in at around 1900 RPM. Driving in city for too long will start to clog the FAP but then a "walk" on the highway will solve the issue. Very good car, especially if you take care to do the checkup and revision every like 10000 km... No rust, no oil leaking and the design still very good looking for being released almost 20 years ago.

Peugeot is a good brand and their cars are reliable. Citroën as well. You should avoid Renault... Just a little advice.

Te salut man frumoasa masina eu sunt in Franta am Renault megane 2 disel am un prieten francez care a detinut 2 masini pegeot 307 cu motoare diferite unu cu 2l hdi 90 de cai dar fara FAP si unu cu 1.6 HDI cu Fap si cu motorul 1.6 a avut numai probleme cand erau injectoarele cand FAP se infunda a dat 900 de euro sa schimbe FAP

Salut, am și eu unul de 1.6 hdi dar euro 3 2005 fără fap o am de la 90.000de km și în prezent are 217.000 și merge de mănâncă nori.

@@povdriver2137 fain sa o conduci fara incidente man parerea mea este ca toate masinile sunt bune daca bagi bani in ele cand trebuie casa le repari si sa nu tragi de ele si sa le faci schimbul de ulei la 50 de mii de kilometri eu fac la fiecare 10 mii chiar daca in cartea masini scrie ca trebuie sa fac la 20 de mii eu il fac mai repede casa duca motorul mai mult .

They are not that bad as some say. The 1.6 hdi engine is quite good to be honest.

@@davidvelickovic3673 hello, It's a very good car for a beginner. The gearbox is smooth and the engine very fuel efficient. I owned one for a couple of years and i still miss how it drives. So yes i recommend the 307 with The 1.6 hdi.
