Thanks for this! Just a note that when replacing the fuel filter on this and virtually all modern common rail diesel engines the fuel system needs to be bled afterwards using the "If you run out of fuel" instructions in the user manual. If this is neglected it can potentially cause damage to the high pressure pump.

I cannot understand why the bracket at 2:30 is inserted. I have broken my connector.

Good Job, Is it necessary to fill the filter house with diesel when new filter is installed? Because the hdi engine does fill it self when 2 or 3 times engine start attempt is done.

I pour it the old-fashioned way. But there is really no need for this...the pump will pump everything by itself

Do the filters come with fresh seals ir are these purchased seperately?

The gasket comes with the filter.
