Could not help but notice the way some people make sweeping generalisations, not just about this car, but about the manufacturer, without ever having driven it. I did not realise, for instance, that it is a fact that Peugeot still can't build a decent car, according to Andrei M, implying that they never have. And they have probably never won a rally either, or a rally championship, or Le Mans, or Dakar, or Pike's Peak, or any Car of the Year awards either. Shame really.

previous gen insignia is what I was referring to, which we saw rebadged here. New 508 and new Insignia ride on a new PSA platform. So yes it's the same platform, but it's not an Insignia, the Insignia is a 508

I'm French, and never been fond of french cars, I mean, Peugeot has got some reliability issues, and always has been "meh" in terms of design.. But those redesigns.. A coupe, with active suspensions, with 230hp, good fuel economy, cheaper than the competition while providing the same stats and above average options for the price, clearly my next car.

Here peugeots aint exactly affordable as it used to back then in indonesia (my cousin had a 206 when i was a kid when the price aint exactly breaking the wallet, my grandpa had a 505 and i had a 405) now the highly acclaimed 3008 cost u at least $54k (1.6T auto) brand new.
