I own a 2018 model 3008 and over these years, I have thoroughly enjoyed driving it. When the facelift came out, I was not that enthused about upgrading. It was such a small difference. This version is well worth the upgrade. It's a big leap from my model and I'm very impressed with how it looks. I live in NZ and it's not available here yet. When it is, I will definitely go for a test drive and see what the prices are like for the various models. I've not really been massively drawn to EV's, but this one might change my mind. The range is really good. I wonder what the battery technology is like and how Peugeot are developing it?

Thank you for the review during which I learned several details I did not get from other reviews of this car today. So this channel delivers value. What is emerging is the relative performance of the big brand platforms. Here we have the Renault/Nissan one; Stellantis are doing good stuff; Audi/VW in my view have not recovered from their dreadful software but of all their sub brands Skoda is showing everyone how to do it; and then you have the Geely related sub brands. At the moment I think of these Geely is the likely winner. This car is not for me but has my respect for what it has done in its segment. The pricing in the EU/UK looks pretty competitive which bodes well for the Renault/Nissan platform. Today I also saw a review for a new Porsche Panamera which topped out at €250k in Europe if you bought the V8 with all the bits. From what I can guess you could buy about six of these for one of them. I am reminded of horse and buggys in about 1910 before the internal combustion engine came in as mainstream.

Refreshing to hear an Irish accent giving a review. Agree with a lot of what he has to say apart from the speed. Extremely sluggish in eco a bit better in normal and fairly quick in sport. Comparing it to my last car which was also stellantis, a DS3 Crossback. It was very quick taking off even in eco and in sport the wheels would literally spin if you try pulling off fast. He says he’s 6’2 and there’s good room in the back seats. Well I’m 6’4 and although it’s the first car I can remember where I don’t have to put the driver’s seat fully back. (So ample leg room in the front) even when I position chair slightly forward to my comfortable driving position, there would be no chance of fitting a passenger behind me (unless they were strapped in a baby seat). My wife is 5’0 and she said she wouldn’t feel comfortable sat behind passenger seat. The boot is big too. They would have been better off cutting a couple of inches from the boot to make in more comfortable for back seat passengers. I’ve only just got the car so don’t know much ability the features but driving back 30 miles from the dealership, half motorway half “a road” (uk) it seems to go better than expected on estimated mileage. Get a lot more miles per charge than DS3. So far fairly happy with it. Apart from what I mentioned and the same stellantis app I had with my ds which is dreadful. I’m hoping the in car info is better which was also dreadful in the DS. Looks a lovely car too.

Interesting to know if that centre console is facing the other way for RHD models? I’m just seeing complexity and extra weight everywhere… Model Y starting €42990… €49990 for LR

well, the issue is, even electric cars in the around $40K range you can have electric adjusted driver seat, i can understand the manual on the cheapest trim, and have it as an option, but on the GT trim, but on highest trim and still no electric seat not even for the driver included is absurd..

With the two basic models, you can cover a maximum of 250-300 km with a 73 kWh battery. The significantly more expensive model with more range has approx. 22 kWh more battery storage. That's 100 km more in summer and 60 in winter. Realistically, 250-400 km are possible and not 700. That's just another bluff. I drive an electric vehicle myself, so that's not badmouthing but a realistic statement.

The problem Stellantis has is your phrase "decent enough" pretty much sums up all of their very diverse products and ranges. But then they are far too expensive for just being decent enough. And this car in particular is up against an awful lot of competition. It's the most crowded space.

Hi. Great review. I am also tall like you 1.89m. When you seated in the back, the drivers seat was adjusted to you? In a long trip whats your opinion for the leg room, for average people and for tall people, seated behind the drivers seat. Thanks

@@mariorecuero7451 I will be honest the Rafale just arrived in the showroom when I was there and it look really good. It’s a little bigger than the Scenic & the shape is like the E3008 with the flat back. I didn’t get to drive it though unfortunately Iv never had an EV before and always been against them so hoping I don’t regret it. The UK has become a lot better when it comes to charging points etc. what country are you in?

I have a 2019 just standard version (Not GT line) and it's lovely, the new electric one looks very nice but don't like the fact there is No chrome that just adds to the looks so missing that is sad. Also the rear of the car looks strange at the bottom when you see it from the side view. Still not Kean on electric car's am more into Hydrogen much better.....
