Excellent campaign did Tony's Tackle (Eastbourne) and with his knowledge and help purchased a cracking rod and reel + various traces and the correct leads to use on a very windy day. Also gained advice on where to fish (Seaford) where its not quite as rough as it was at Eastbourne. Invited me to join him for a try for Ray's off the beach but unfortunately had to pass this up due to this bloody virus. He is a most likeable helpful person and I will definitely be seeing him again when this virus is over. If you see him tell him I will post the sea rod rest he lent me to his shop. (did not dare leave it outside)

Great to meet you gents. I was right the small eyes turned up last week. Shame by the next time we can fish they will have gone again. Just hope lockdown is over before the end of stingray season.

Hey mate, sorry we didnt do the iow, would love to go there. But it was the time, weve just done christchurch to Bristol, so we have finished the safa now. But we did have to miss a few shops. It has taken us 6 days+ of hard driving, and we still found the last couple were closed when we got to them, have no fear we will be writingvto the ones we have missed, in the meantime if you want to take some pics of any shops we missed please post them on our face book groups,

I was only ribbing you guys, it was a great safa, the ferry fares to the Island are horrendous though, wouldn’t blame you if that’s what put you off.
