It's easy as heck to be a Bucs fan right now. I've been a fan a long time and I can't remember ever feeling this way exact for when Tom came. I'm just so excited to see what the boys can do when they're all locked in and driven. Go Bucs!

Great point, and the Bucs aren't reliant on a superstar like Tom Brady to take them to the next level. This is a really balanced Bucs team in 2024 with stars all over the field.

Jason Licht has nailed the last few drafts. I think if you get two starters out of a draft you did well. But with a Licht draft? 3, 4 or more starters is not unusual. And some of them are even undrafted Free Agents!

Barton, Braswell, Smith, McMillian and Irving will start or play a lot. Elijah Klein will make the team as a backup left guard. Devin Culp will at least make the practice squad. He is almost a tweener between a wide out and a TE. Would be shocked to give Culp up to another team. You could see him on a seam route or a quick slant. Starting to look like an incredible draft. Even better than I first thought.

So, can we expect to see a lot of Dime packages? ...To put Tykee Smith and Tavierre Thomas on the field at the same time? It sounds like a recipe for success... 1. Improved running game burns clock. 2. The WRs score early and establish the lead. (Force the opponent into passing situations.) 3. Get sacks and interceptions from Nickle and Dime coverage.

ITS A PASSING LEAGUE THESE DAYS. ID LOVE TO SEE IT!! #GOBUCS

I wouldn't be surprised to see more dime this year. If Tavierre Thomas keeps making plays Todd Bowles will have to find a way to get both he and Tykee Smith on the field together - along with Jordan Whitehead and Antoine Winfield Jr.

Bucs have made a lot of good decisions since winning the SB. If they blew the team up and built it back up from scratch it would still be a mess. A lot easier to fill in a handful of puzzle pieces each year. Also they stay away from the high price free agents. It is not sexy but it can be effective if players perform and injuries are few.
@PewterReportTV2 ай бұрын
Yes, they wisely reloaded rather than rebuilt. Landing Baker Mayfield was key because it all starts at the QB position. But yes, this TEAM is very well-rounded and talented.

Tykee sounds like Ronde breaking down plays when he did his interviews. You hear players say after half the season the game slowed down for them. They realize what the offense is trying to do to them. Tykee might have a less of a learning curve. When Bowles or position coach say do this instead, Tykee probably will understand why.

John Lynch is just shooting from the logo, like prime Steph, and hitting nothing but net. The only "big" disappointment in the last few drafts is only JTS, whom I hope will finally have a breakout year. Btw, why does Pewter Report still only have 15K subs? It should've been at least 50K subs.

Overrating the Draft Class? I think from top to bottom this is the first time I have ever seen a draft where all the picks should make the team. I love the TE at the 7th pick. He should be on the team because we have three big blockers. We need a speed guy at TE who can play on passing downs. But slotting four guys to start is a bit much.

This has the makings to be an outstanding Bucs draft class - from top to bottom.
