If you push the top in, you don't need to buy another gauge. If it's close to the top, just grab it with some forceps or a leatherman and you're g2g. If it "gets lost" inside, then you'll need to drain your gauge and rinse it well with water and *maybe* degreaser depending on the fill fluid. Or don't and get messy. FYI halocarbon smells funky. Then turn it upside down and shake it until you see the cap through the hole. With your tool of choice, grab a solid chunk of flesh and pull it out. It may take some finessing. Then fill, cap, and clean off the outside. If it's glycerin, fill it as soon as you want. If silicone or other then just make sure it's clean and dry before you fill it. You should be able to easily get silicone, halocarbon is harder to get.

Hi, I have a question about an oil pressure gauge on my Harley. I was riding along and looked down at the gauge it says 0 oil pressure , I also have a idiot light that was not on but I have never put much faith in them that is why I put the wet gauge on . Wondering if the gauge went bad. I have never had one that just died like this and just read 0 all the time. I'm asking this before I tear my bike apart to replace my pump. Do wet gauges go bad like this? just stop working.

got a question for you i got a liguid gauge 0 to 60 and i got a 1990 k5 blazer got my engine rebuld i did some up grades and some mods to mt tbi so i need the gauge to set my regulator pressure and i got some to burn my chip i put bigger cam in it ..my gauge were reading 10 psi with the stock spring and i try to adjust it but it stay at 10psi so i were thinking maybe the spring were weak so i put in a 18psi spring when i frist put it in with no adjustment it was reading 10 psi ..so i started to adjust it and it went to 20 psi i were trying to get it to go to 14 psi so when i back off it the screw is not even touching it and it is still at 20 psi it as if it is sticking ..and when unscrew the gauge it dont drop down to 0 and it should what do you think

Thanks for the info, I have a question, can the wet gauge be used in mobile applications, say on the end of a flexi tube or does it have to stand upright for it to read correct? Thanks
