That's the biggest chile relleno I've ever seen, and I've had them at hundreds of restaurants in Mexico and the southwestern U.S. One of my favorite foods when it's done right. Usually, I have had them served in a sauce, either a broth with cooked onion, tomato, and capsicum or a red chile sauce. Sometimes, but rarely, just with cream. I usually prefer them with a less fluffy egg coating, but if it's done right fluffy can be good as well. Most important is that the chile is cooked until it offers no resistance to the tooth. I live an hours drive from the Mexican border. I think food such is served in this restaurant would be below average to average in our city, but it is quite impressive to see it done so nicely on the other side of the world. My favorite chile relleno comes from a little dive of a restaurant with a drive-thru window in Tucson, Arizona called La Fresita. The chile is prepared differently almost every time I order it, but it's always fantastic. It tastes like they have an army of grandmothers hidden away cooking in the kitchen.

Another wonderful video Peyman! In the US where I'm from (Colorado) we grow up eating LOTS of chilies, in fact that's what my town is most known for! Every Holliday my family will have 1 huge pot of green chili (a thick kind of soup with meat, chilies, and spices. usually put on top of burritos, French fries, ANYTHING LOL!) and 1 huge pot of spaghetti sauce! I've always wanted to travel the world and share the food I grew up enjoying, and learning about other cultures through their food as well! You are so lucky to be able to have so many amazing adventures and meet so many wonderful people while making great KZbin videos! May GOD continue to bless both of our families! Before Dubai got all cosmopolitan, in the late 80's whenever I was in town, we would go to Pancho's. I don't recall which Hotel it was located in. Back then the Dubai Continental Hotel across from the Airport was the posh place to stay. Man how your city has grown!!

That is pretty close to authentic but not quite. Traditional pozole is pork meat and cabbage is used instead of lettuce. Also the tortilla shredded chips aren’t something you add to the bowl more like a tostada on the side. But I got to say that is the closest version of Mexican food I ever seen outside of Mexico.

you should try pupusas from el SAlvador. pupusas are so delicious. there are made of corn flour with mozzarella cheese, veggies or meat. you can go to you tube and type how to make SAlvadorian pupusas in English and get the the recipe. pupusas are so so delicious whenever you visit San Antonio tx usa let's us know. you and your wife are welcome to stay in our house my house is your house too. convey my salams to your wife. inshaallah.
