This is a deceptively simple design not so simple to execute. Your efforts to create the tutorial and the pattern guide are much appreciated.

Your explanations/demonstrations of turns and decreases are so very clear to see and understand. I did stitch up the ring from this series, and am so pleased with it. Thanks, Stephanie, for sharing yet another beautiful "Empress" design. This will go on my "to stitch" list.

Thank you for the heads up on beeswax. What a difference it makes for all the different threads I use. No more tangles for me even on LONG strands.

SO, SO PRETTY! Thank you, Stephanie! I could imagine a 3-D earring or pendant in like a pyramid or double pyramid shape with the bicone inclusion like you've done on the other pieces (if you were looking for ideas... LOL). You keep us busy with all your creations -- it's the BEST kind of busy!!!

This is my first beading project ever. It’s a love hate thing so far! I’m using 11/0 deli as and a big holed needle I’m finding a little too wonky for my liking. If I can get a needle and through that second bead to start the brick stitch it’ll be a miracle. I’ve been a long time needle worker, so was surprised how challenged I’ve been. You’re tutorial is very helpful! ((Wish I didn’t have to sign into my lap top every time I look up!) Your work is beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry3 жыл бұрын
Thank you 🙏😊💙 Try a beading needle size 10 or 11 such as a pony brand or John James. It gets through the beads easily! You picked as very challenging piece as your first! I’m excited 🤩

2 QUESTIONS: 1) Why not just finish it in peyote instead of switching to brick stitch? 2) What specific color name did you use for the 4mm bicone? LOVE THIS!!
@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry3 жыл бұрын
I thought brick stitch gave it a nice look and a bit more strength. Really a design decision on my part 🌺The blue one is listed in the description box under the video. The green one was part of the Super Nova Collection ( Collection link is listed in the description box under the video as well). I don’t have the specific color name.

Hi Stephanie! I just subscribed and liked your page on FB. Although I’ve been watching you since December (first time I got hooked with beading) as I hardly log in to my account. When I saw your photo on FB I thought, wow she doesn’t have just a nice soothing voice, she’s gorgeous as well! Thank you, you are a gem! I learned a lot from your tutorials. Your designs are amazing! More power to you! 💕💕

Why wax the thread? Does it make it stronger?
@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry3 жыл бұрын
It makes it slide through the beads and provides another layer of protection from sharper edged beads. It’s not necessary for Fireline but I do it anyway 😉
@michaelimhoff63542 жыл бұрын
Can this be done using an 8/0 seed bead?
@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry2 жыл бұрын
I think you can try any bead but the earring will be very large. I say go for it. You’ll need a bigger bicone as well😊
