Brady has the greater career (The greatest of any NFL player), but Peyton in his prime in the 2000s is the smartest most skilled and talented field general to ever play the QB position. There’s a reason this man won 5 MVPs and has more all pro selections than any QB. Nobody could orchestrate an NFL offense quite like 18 at his peak, he redefined the entire pre-snap aspect of playing QB. Peyton was the trendsetter of his generation, but Brady outlasted him was undoubtedly better in high pressure moments (granted, Peyton is a much better playoff quarterback, then give them credit for, but Brady laps the competition when it comes to that).

Last time Tampa bay won a superbowl was when Dungy left and they won the next year with a roster he couldn’t win a wildcard with. Who did he coach after? Peyton manning. When did manning win a superbowl? When Dungy left. Situations make your legacy.

Hell yes, Peyton was better. The Colts lived and died by his arm. Tom had multiple seasons where he didn't even break 4000, and the Patriots still were like 11-5 or better. He didn't even throw 30 TDs in a season until that legendary 2007 team which I do admit was damn good. Another thing? When Peyton had a competent team around him, he won. Peyton won their playoff head-to-heads 3-2. The tiebreaker came in the NFC championship Peyton's final year. When it mattered most regarding their rivalry, Peyton literally came out on top.

The colts had one of the best offenses if not the best offense in the league almost every year Peyton was in Indianapolis he had egarrin James and than Joseph addai and he had Marvin Harrison Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark Peyton always played with better weapons than Tom Brady until Tom Brady got randy moss but besides those few years of randy moss Peyton arguably played with better receivers his whole career
@dfed324
@dfed324 Жыл бұрын
@@Thatguywiththeplan8 a team is more than a QB and receivers. Addai was average at best, and James was gone after 2 or 3 seasons. Also are you really going to disrespect Wes Welker, Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, Aaron Hernandez, and Gronkowski like that? The catching talent Brady had was definitely comparable to Peyton's Colts talent. I'll give you Broncos because that was ridiculously stacked with Damarius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders out wide, Julian Thomas as the TE, and later Welker in the slot. But don't give me "Brady didn't have talent outside of Moss" crap because he definitely did, and his Buccaneers talent was almost as rediculous as Peyton's Broncos talent.

@@dfed324 you can’t compare Julian Edelman,Wes welker and danny amendola to Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne they’re arguably the greatest wide receiver duo in nfl history and edgerrin James was there for a decent amount of time he was there from 99-05

Are we treating Brady like Biden? Anyone remember DeflateGate? It’s a different sport but look at Mark McGuire. He will always have an asterisk by his name and numbers because of the steroid scandal. But somehow the technological cheating by the Patriots gets forgotten. And I’m sorry, but while not part of their stats Peyton is a much better person. I can’t stand to listen to Brady in interviews.

I never understood this conversation. Football is the ultimate team sport, and yes the QB has a huge impact on the game - but they have zero impact on Special Teams and Defence. Yet, in the ultimate team sport we try to award a single-player accolade. But, if you were to put Peyton on the Pats with Belicheck, and Brady on the Colts, Manning wins more SB than Brady. Primarily because Brady always had a better defence, except when Peyton went to Denver. Brady was clutch. As clutch as they come. But Manning forver changed the way QB was played.

Yeah, I’ll say Manning is better. Brady had the longevity, sure. He also had the coaching consistency, the better defense, and the weaker division all throughout his career. A couple things: To say Brady has more drive to win is just nonsense, and not measurable in any way. Manning literally had to teach himself how to throw again after that horrible neck injury, which took a couple years off his career, no doubt. Tampa Bay had an incredible roster when Brady went there lmao, it’s not like he lifted them from a bottom 5 roster to the Super Bowl or anything.

The lingerie football league was never promoted, but yet it still had a insane following, including when they changed it to the legends football league without a single promotion or should I say a single big-time promotion. If they were to do it today, it would blast off, but then again, you’d have half a dozen men claiming to be women to join NBA star players

Brees was the best to ever throw it. Didn’t have the teams or defenses either did. His numbers are better than Brady’s in essentially every category except superbowls which is a team accomplishment 🤷🏼‍♂️
@gkearney6411
@gkearney6411 Жыл бұрын
I would agree overall, but Brees also had an offensive minded coach for several years. He also played behind a lot more which increased his offensive stats, while brady ran the ball out much more. Over their respective careers Brady was willing to throw the ball away more often and live to play the next down rather than throw into traffic while Brees was more aggressive. This led to Brady having a 1.8 INT% while Brees had a 2.3 INT% leading to Brees having 31 more INTs over his career than Brady in 48 less games. However, I would agree that if Brees had better weapons/defense through his career he would've had more wins. Accuracy wise Brees was the best no doubt.

Yes and no. He leapfrogged Tom and Joe for GOAT after the Denver super bowl. Tom re-passed him after beating the Falcons and has since pulled away. Peyton definitely had weaker teams than Tom did. For instance during Tom’s first SB win, his defense literally gave up 14ppg less than the Colts defense did. No QB can overcome a 2 TD spot every game. Tom’s first 3 championships were not his per se, they were Bill’s. After a decade of winning nothing, Tom finally started winning his own and 4 in 7 years is as good as it gets. Unlike the first 3, he wasn’t on a 6th round selection’s rookie contract, he was the man without the luxury of a loaded defense (except the tampa bay team). If you watch all the games between the 2 of them, I do think Peyton was definitely the better player in those matchups generally speaking. But I also think Tom’s best seasons were at an older age where he reached a level of mastery that no one else has ever achieved.

@NT312 Жыл бұрын
I think Blaine prefers LeBron over Jordan simply because of Blaine‘s age. Hear me out : Blaine was too young to experience and appreciate the greatness of Jordan in his prime as it unfolded. I think that that makes a big difference and when you compare Michael Jordan‘s skills to LeBron James’ skills, it’s more difficult for a younger person to decide who is better because of the progression since Jordan. Michael Jordan is definitely a pioneer where LeBron is going to be (or appear to be) more progressive because (again), players have progressed since Jordan. At the end of the day, I think Michael Jordan was a much more skilled player than LeBron. Jordan was a pioneer. Jordan is the OG. Jordan is the G.O.A.T Blaine is cute. End of.

They're mean and say verbal abuse, but then they can't remember what they do because they got a brain injury or whatever. Brandy, who'd want a date a man who'd want a date. A man that had all that, and then all suddenly strikes out. Don't remember what he says, like mental abuse. But then he says you're always stupid or whatever. There's a lot of that going on. There's a lot of men like that, so there became sports people first and then now they become mental illness. Because I can't handle a relationship cause it blows like. P, SD or whatever when they come back for the war, you know how many times can you say? Don't hit your head, you know, and continue to continue? Finally, we're just to let you know that. You know. Your sports stuff's really good. But who would want to data? Man, that's gonna be injured late and don't get none. And then mental hurt you. You know what I mean so I say? Don't date sports people. Do not date sports people. Because they get hit in the head, just some sports people. Not all but damage, you know, bones like a babysitting job. You know, it's like, you know, rock and roll. I said they're all from Africa they should go back to Africa and I love everybody there's a lot of people from hurting over there and they made a lot of money. Here's a mansion at 700 rooms that you can't put their African friends that are homeless on the road on the street and all that hes riding a bike down the road, can he dish out some many out of his little car? Has he ever stood on the corner? And gave everybody 1000 dollars, you know? Has anybody billed all these empty houses? And made a colony for his African friends to go back to Africa. All those people are hurting over there. And hes making all this money from the USA stamp. I can understand but I love everybody I. Even love the purple people, the green people, the crazy people, but, you know, I'm not rich but I do help but he makes more money than I do, and we all the Africans make one, and they go back and open a Nike company over there. And then here's Iran, what's his name Elo n, why is he making so much plant there here? Why don't he go make an African plan over there for African buddies, but he wants to shoot spaceship out, you know, that's another thing you gotta look at football, space, space football, you know which one's gonna help the African body so they're multiplying fast. I love everybody but. What if family plan is set in 1920 three, if we don't start clipping, they're gonna multiply faster so I love all of them but they're out of a job you know, eat bowl and didn't kill him off. But the whole idea is you're better given my job because they're fast, you know, like rewriting rewriting in Atlanta, Georgia, it's called rewriting your math book to rewriting to Sissy buck, or whatever you know, like, rockefellers, you know, the last Rockefeller's died, and he was what 101 and he. Just died what 10 years ago. Whatever the whole point is, we gotta quit rewriting and give these people more work, but we gotta. They're bringing it over there, you know, all these people say they got the money they got the money, but they're getting the money from us. Football football sports, a lot of people in black situations are wearing necklaces and stuff, hairs or African buddies climbing up the mountain for a dollar cause he won't know whatever's name wants to batteries. So you gotta remember, hes white, hes chocolate, hes blue, hes black, doesn't matter. They all need help and they're multiplying faster, so if you want to play sports one or they open a big sports company over there, making blow up dolls. Or balls of football, whatever clothes, why don't they make the sports clothes over there
