When you wind a bobbin, disengage the clutch !!! Never turn the hand wheel away from you ( It ruins the motor ) and lastly, "gently" lower the presser foot - Releasing it in the manner you do will break the feed dogs when using fine fabrics...

I just found this machine today in a cabinet at the thrift store for $25. I will pick it up after Christmas but I did bring the bag of accessories home and the electrical cord is pretty messed up so I’m afraid I’ll be having a challenge with plugging that machine up it’s like taped up, but I hope I’ll figure it out. The sound of this machine is awesome. Thank you for sharing.

Yeah it works manually... Just the electric motor is preferred when speed is required Yes it comes with bobbin and bobbin case

This the model I have but it also came with a pulley mechanism for the treadle. I need help to assemble the threads because electricity is unstable in Nigeria

HA,DB or DP needles works for it..size 14-22. The machine uses Pfaff bobbin/shuttle.. I presently don't have the machine available for video demonstration

This Pfaff model is the best !! The reason is that all the "automatic" models have no utility stitches ( multi- zig zag or blind hem )- only silly decorative stitches that no person uses..

The control mechanism for the zigzag/straight stitch is inside the machine..so you can get a technician to help with it..

Depends on the leather. Softer leather should be fine. Natural veg tan for example, don't.
