I've had a Pfaff for 12 years and love it. I stitched all of the decorative stitches on a sampler when I first got it, to help me get used to machine and try things out, I still refer to it when choosing stitches now. 😊

It looks lovely! I bet you can’t wait to play! Two things - remember not to use metallic thread with the automatic thread cutter as it will blunt it (ask me how I know!) and the little metal screwdriver is for taking off the metal plate for over the bobbin for cleaning etc and it fits underneath without you having to do any contortions!

You will love it. I got the Phaff Quilt ambition 635 last November. Love mine. Quilting for baby quilts is great. My Grandson loves playing with my new machine

I can't believe how calm you are Adele! I would have been swinging from the ceiling with excitement - I'm absolutely green with sewing machine envy! I currently have a Brother Innovis very similar to your old machine - had it for 5 years and it's been doing some strange things lately re button holes and feed dogs not working enough so I will be glued to your review of the Pfaff. OMG I love that I am going to name her Madonna or 'Madge' for short - I love Madonna - I was born in 1980 so grew up into my teens listening to Madonna and her album the immaculate collection was my first album on cassette!!! Thank you for the suggestion x

The IDT is fab 😊 I had a friend round yesterday (she has a crafty company) and I was showing it off to her. She definitely left with a bit of fomo! 😂 I'm just about to make a fabric order for some cotton for bunting for my friend's wedding, I can't wait to get started on it 😍

I have a Pfaff quilt expression 4.2. For some reason the auto buttonholer just carries on sewing until i actually stop it. It's also very picky on thread and goes clunky if it doesn't get gutermman. A machine diva 😂 I have a Bernina too which took me forever to save for and it's amazing and my favourite😊 Hope you have many hours of happy sewing sessions on your new machine Adele. So happy for you ❤

My Pfaff ambition 1.0 is also very picky on the thread. Drives me crazy! My 15 year old Janome Memory Craft is a real workhorse and so good tempered

That's how I describe my Pfaff performance 5.0 as a 'Diva'. She can do amazing things but throws the occasional temper tantrum.
