Can you help what kind of thread you use for free motion? Even with original manufacturer settings my machine is tearing the thread. I always have to set tension lower and use embrodiery thread. This is the only way I can do free motion with the 4.2.

Can't see foot with words in the wau

She said the foot was the 6A for sensormatic free motion. Although you can buy the spring foot (not sure if it's included with your machine) and the 6D dynamic spring foot. I think she said "and". Maybe the same foot. I have it with my machine.
