To be honest, any cheap eBay copy-cats for Winning groin protectors will work just fine. The real difference I find is in their headgear (and gloves of course). Winning headgear is some of the lightest I’ve used, yet still very solid and protective. These look great though and they’re in New Jersey that’s a plus because a lot of eBay equipment manufacturers are located in Pakistan.

me and my gym mate were just saying this. your groin protector just needs to be able to cover your groin,define your waistline so you can show your sparring partner can see what is low and what is a fair shot and give some barrier between getting hit right in the groin with a bare glove.

So I just recently received this in the mail and yes while its light and relatively inexpensive, mine came in with one defect as it was folded so the foam shows it. Also wasn’t to pleased with the shipping times as the company claims to be from NJ and I live in MD and took almost a full five day’s to ship it and last time I will be giving them a tip. And one more this is a year old the cost went up to $48 + $6.90 ish for shipping.

I bought this groin protector in black. Not the best quality as far a ruffles in the leather but it fits great like you said.

@@csquaredboxing just realized the one I bought is not high cut. The stitching is how I noticed. Mine has two stitching lines on the front not straight down the middle like yours. And your leather looks way better quality than mine for some reason. The price is now about 50

@Official TJ Trev 💪 if you don't care about quality control then it's a cheap option till you decide on another one. The Winning style like these, are good for your balls. I suggest ordering somewhere with free returns because some are ball slappers if you order wrong size.

You could but it would get in the way on higher kicks because your hips would push on it

Thanks for putting out these videos m8. Over the years, I've grown tired of shelling out for big brand names on groin guards. When I saw your video about the Ringside Ultra-light headgear I gave it a go. I still shell out for Winning gloves, handwraps, NG-2's (that I modify), and the RIB-3 (shirt type). I don't think those can be replaced. I didn't think the FG-2900 could be replaced either but I was simply amazed by the Ringside Ultra-Light comfort, performance, and value for money. Great work m8! Are you competing in the USA Masters boxing division? I will be in the next 6 months or so. I am so happy they are going to let me participate!

Just had the same issue. I ordered the black colorway about a month ago in large, but it was too big so I settled to buy another one because of how close it was to the actually winning cup. I received the smaller one today in the mail and it’s a completely different cup protector. The quality was awful on this new one and the stitching was off being on the hip protectors. No idea what happened lol
