PFlueger President XT (Best $100 Reel?!)

Bass Pro usually puts a version of the XT on sale every Christmas.. I have a few and usually try to get one each year, if I can remember to.. I’ve actually given a couple to my boys.. but I enjoy using them. Even the basic president 7 bearing, I find to be a fun reel to use. If you get the chance, you should try the Lews Mr. Trout.. usually a $25 reel at Dicks sporting goods. That and the Shimano Sienna was on clearance at Walmart for $26.50 and both are very comfortable budget reels.. As usual, great review!!

@@TheGraytOutdoors I do have the Mr. Trout but I have not used it yet. It’s essentially the Lew’s Laser Lite but better colors. And fun fact, the PFlueger President is only 7 bearings with the size 20 reel. 25 and up are 10 bearings. I just made a review on the PFlueger Trion and I will be posting that within the next week. Finally, I’ll be stopping by BPS next year then. Because PFlueger just released the newest version of the XT last year.

@ I bought a 2020 limited edition president XT from BPS two years in a row😂.. in 2022😆😂.. You and I may need to do a “Live Feed” at some point.. Your knowledge of the “New equipment” and mine on the vintage junk😉, may be interesting to at least 12 or 13 people,🤣. Seriously though, some folks may be interested in our conversation.. if nothing else, it would be nice to talk face to face.. or camera face to camera face..

@ yeah we are nerds lol. I do way too much research. If I am going to put myself out there and make a video about a topic people are this passionate about, I am going to make sure I am not talking out of my “you know what” lol. And that would be cool do a live stream. It might be hard to schedule a time. I have two young kids and my military schedule is crazy. But I am interested in the idea, that is for sure!
