Most of them don't want single men to live and encourage only living together couples which is maximum in this layout , they know couples won't bargain much and they utilise them maximum. Here in Bangalore Telugu pg owners are making huge money out of squeezing it people. There is not much difference in facilities like other cities . They not even bothered about cleanliness also . Spice garden layout is very very dirty , when there is rain huge potholes will be there .

You can easily stay in pg in rs 6500 four sharing and rs 8000-9000 for double sharing in Marathahalli. You can find single room (only room not food)with bathroom in 8000-10000 here. I live single big room with 10k and food cost is 3.5k. all done with personal room in 13.5 k. Marathahalli bridge is just 300m from. Room is completely on main road.
