I A Richards' full name is Ivor Armstrong Richards. (1893 to 1979). New criticism is also called practical criticism. I A Richards ' method of teaching is different . When he was a professor at Cambridge, he used to give practical kind of work to his students. For instance, he would hand over some copies of poems to his students without revealing the name of the author, the background of the text and the name of the poem. The students would focus on criticising the text without any bias. This is the practical approach of i a richards In 1929 he published Practical Criticism. I understand lit. criticism easily. From the beginning and to the end..... every minute of the video carries key points that are very much required for the exam. Thank you sir🙏🙏
