My favorite genre of Drama Time: writers utterly oblivious that they are the problem

that first story was crazy. poor davey obviously had some struggles, and these kids just decided to bully tf out of him for it. it's lucky that the story didn't end the way preach was scared it would

As a person who grew up and went to college in the Midwest, yeah, the dorms are pretty small. Basic dorms are usually one room including beds, desks, etc. If you have more than two people, they might be bigger. If you're fancy and pay more, you can have separate bedrooms and a shared kitchen/living space.

I kinda love how the author of the last story went all out with the passive aggression since I 100% would have done the same thing. Although working it out would have been better (and my first choice) the act of saying absolutely nothing to people acting hostile is more infuriating to them than anything you could possibly say lol

Yeah, dorms with shared bedrooms are pretty common in the US. My school mostly had divided rooms, but a lot of places will have two or even three people living in the same undivided room.

There is nothing more infuriating to me than thieves. There is so little enforcement of the law with theft these days it's turned theft of things like game accounts into a billion dollar industry.

yeah my dorm in college was a single room with two beds squashed together in the middle and desks on the far wall. we at least had separate closets. we shared a bathroom with another room on the other side, jack-and-jill style. 4 girls, one bathroom. it was a fucking nightmare. we had a single minifridge and that was it, no kitchen or living area

to be fair he tried to make up the next day with rob as mediator and even the floor guy said that OP was right and i see it aswell. It is not like he not speaking changed the opinion of those 2 and it just helped OP to have his mind nor depressed. i think OP is not guitly . it is his right not to speak with them. they only insulted him anyway and clearly didnt want him there.

My first dorm was cinder block walls enough space for 2 beds that could be bunked and 2 small desks, 1 window 1 tiny closet, the local jail cells were more spacious as my roommate could attest

Like everything in the USA everything is for profit, even schools. so they cram as many people into buildings as legally possible. I lived in many dorms in my time in uni and ALL of them were one room with beds in them, i only had my own room when i got an on campus apartment.

Lol a friend throws a butter knife at you so you go to play a game. I once made a friend angry and he threw something at me but missed so I started making fun of him for missing. So he picked up a fork and threw it at me and it stuck into my chest to this day I still have four little prick marks as scars right above my nipple. We all laughed at me having a fork sticking out of my chest and took it out then we all went and played some games. Good times with the boys.
