Today marks the first anniversary for the release of this music video Thank you Pernelle and everyone especially who helped to construct this for her. This music video went above and beyond my expectations for a cover of Ryuichi Sakamoto and David Sylvian's collaboration of the song Forbidden Colours / Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence The reason being was the humanity behind the creation process that I deeply felt and connected with, especially from Pernelle's own life experience and relationship with her late father who she dedicated this song to a year ago, which is also the same day he passed away on the 23rd of November a year prior There aren't many music pieces out there that could bring out tears, and express a wide variety of raw emotions from melancholy, sadness, determination, bitterness, anger and conviction, which is hard to describe unless you lived all these experiences yourself, no matter the situation and context. This is a song that could resonate with everyone, which Sakamoto had strive to accomplish in all his composed works If The Professor and Pernelle's father were present to listen to this song right now, everyone that helped to make this cover would have definitely honoured the both of them tremendously - I am sure of it I wish you all the best in life, still moving forward, especially after the passing of your late father, Pernelle. Thank you for everything.

WOW what an amazing cover! Mr. Sakamoto would've loved this very much. This is my first time hearing the vocal lines since I'd only listened to this song when my brother practiced it a few years ago and I listening to it later on. PitTan and Purpleschala are indeed amazing musicians, and you're really incredible too! I love the build up especially towards the end when the layers start stacking. I could feel the depth of the performance while reading the description, and I'm glad I found this cover. Thank you ❤
