PGP Motorsports Park ~ Arrive & Drive 77.284 Hot Lap ~ July 13th, 23'

They said the track was fast this week, and they weren't kidding...
Todd ran 77 second laps in six out of the eight laps in his session, lap four being the fastest.

My best is an 81.9, it doenst feel like it wants to grip more. Any tips?

Todd has ran nearly 300 sessions including races. So... seat time, seat time and more seat time... doing one of the adult drivers school classes would probably be helpful too. Good luck!

I went there yesterday, and it was really wet. Had a great time sliding around and learning how to drive in the wet, but didnt get the chance for a new pb😢

@@tisscurmotorsports learning how to slide in the wet will be helpful when it's dry too... also, if you are planning getting into league racing, it's often wet or raining...

Hi its me again. I went to the arrive and drive today and just barely missed out on getting into the 79s, but i was wondering which corners should be flat out and also the breaking strategy for the corners that needed it. Also, is trail breaking good?

Hey, sorry for the slow reply. It sounds like you are making progress. I can't offer much advice as you are already faster than me, it's not me racing, it's my son... I'd say watch a bunch of the videos out there to see what Todd and others are using as breaking points... Thanks so much! I think one part of the fast lap times is the kart and the balance of oversteer and understeer. Kinda just luck of the draw

@@tisscurmotorsports Yep... Todd dropped from P3 to P12 in race three simply because the kart had no straight line speed... this fleet of karts is approaching three years of abuse.

Todd is convinced he can break into the 76's. I think someone will before the summer is over. Colby deserves some recognition for keeping those karts running so well!!!

@@hutchingsmotorsports3920 we haven't went there in a while cause we got motorcycles but it looks like we need to go lol. 76 is insane, u have to be super light probably. Max we might get is maybe a high 78, maybe

@@gavin19613 We added weight the next session and he still ran in the 77's six out of eight laps. Munsch Racing is only a few tenths off Todd's lap and he's 207'ish I think?

Todd said "a little bit"... I think he brakes pretty early, so it doesn't look like he is braking.
