Lee is closer to a year of high damage and fire supremacy over everyone else, with Watanabe about that far out. He's also still necessary for filling in the gaps that Watanabe will need filled. One unit is never an answer in these games. Teams are the way.

I dont know why we talking about waiting for Watanabe, if your playing the game and have been for at least 2 months now, you can pull Lee and pull Watanabe later, its not like if you pull Lee, you lose out on Watanabe. Now if your starting now.... maybe you might just wanna wait for Alpha, but do know having Watanabe only, won't mean your fire team is great, at least if you pull Lee, before Watanabe comes out, the anniversary will have a 100% choice pull that you can use to get Liv: Empyrea and then the patch after get Watanabe, and have the fire meta team. But if you skip.... well you wont be able to do that.

I will explain how it looks from perspective of newer player,i have literally 0 fire units,a rank tank not exist even in cn till this moment, so basically i have to play only him, building fire team gonna take time to wata release anyway to at least compete at some point,lee need his signature to not cope with entering his core passive, and to top that he have 8 sec cd on his core,what making him really cope to play if u don't wanna pull signature, and when in 2 patches gonna be cw who have no downtime at all and can carry u without teammates,yeah,i better get her to ss3 or potentially to sss with lamia free char selector and use it in fire wz than building fire team,and wata+liv leap can literally remove lee from fire team by any davinci user, so unless u collecting all chars,or veteran with already build fire team and lee gonna make your team better immediately, he not worth spending my cards

Wow, I'm late here ik but thank the yt algorithm. After playing with Lee, for a while here's what's great about him: Highest dps in the fire team. He has a really safe kit allowing you to take hits and he will dodge by himself. Having his Sig weapon will make you able to speedrun some ppc bosses and help with your wz rotations. Also, he's most likely dealing more dmg than Watanabe too so you better get them both as Watanabe is a tank who provides res reduction, good damage and powercreeping Nanamech and... that's about it. Watanabe can't deal all the damage in your fire team because he's just a tank meanwhile Lee is the dps.

I have 36k bc and i want bianca's gacha coating too and i got nanami starfarer on normal pulls (lucky) should i pull for hyperlee or save for SS(or higher) alpha crimson weave and bianca's coating or just S alpha weave is enough?

You can get SS alpha for using ppc skull which is already good enough

36K is more than enough to guarantee Lee, Crimson Weave AND the coating if you keep playing regularly, so no worries. And yes, with Pain Cage you can also get all of them to SS on top of that^^

Just started the game a week ago so too late to get Lee. Such a shame, cause I got Liv Empyrea from my first 40. It'll be a while before I can even use her on a fire team despite hoa good she is since I missed Lee and the new Nanami.

if you are new you can use empyrea as off element for a while bacause she is amplifier it give bonus element if you switch from liv unless you have other element fully build. You may pull lee on anniversary banner (around june - july) it will 100% too & maybe you can get watanabe S around september

I didn't really consider Lee as another option for that Anniversary banner though that's a good idea too...

I'm having like 22k BC and 2500 tickets....."maybe" will try to get him, i think(?).... since i started fresh around Haicma's debut, got Bianca Stigmata also.... so like my only noted team for now are the Dark Team (Vera Rozen, Luna Laurel, and No.21 (soon to be change to Selena Capriccio on one of them which i got from basic Construct tickets a bit recently)), and Physical WIP Team (Bianca Stigmata, Liv Luminance, and Rosetta Rigor) so like, i don't have yet a started team for fire sadly, so no Nanami Starfarer and no Liv Empyrea 😅, plus Lucia Crimson Weave is coming by next year (in which, got to think of it, i don't have any Lightning team also yet lols XD) almost forgot, im f2p iin this game so.... yeah.... big decisions since that's what i have right now :'D...

Do you play regularly like every day? if yes its actually possible to get both of them but you need to play everyday daily & all events as F2P case. Because usually every 2 patch you can get around 15k or even more and enough to get everyone at least at S. However just remember don't pull any weapon, Ayla S and Alisa to make it possible. but in the end its your choice. Choose the path that you feel you can enjoy the game more because that the most important. Good luck!

Just get both. In PGR there's never a reason to skip anyone. Also it's not like Wata is around the corner, he is literally still a whole year away. Skipping Lee now will literally not change anything, except that your fire team will be terrible until then.

I'm not sure. Kuro is quite random with that. So for me just expect nothing

The problem with leaps is that they are used when characters are falling behind, which Lee isn't. He is still by far the best Fire Attacker and at low investment he is also much stronger than Wata, so there's no need for a leap for now. So by the time he will get a leap he will probably have an actual replacement that's better.
