A little unsolicited joy advice: whenever using one of these ships with long range secondaries, make sure to set target priority on DD’s the moment they first get spotted. That way anytime they show up even for a few seconds your ship will passively take shots if it can, and chipping away at Destroyers can make a huge difference. Love the videos! Keep it up.

@@braxtonw1993 Yup. When you’re looking at a red ship you can set it as the target priority for your secondaries. On my scheme on Xbox it’s the Y button. When you bring up your comms wheel you should see it in the list of options to the side with other things like turning off your AA guns.

Just as a little thing, gk secondaries are no joke anymore. They can really hurt if in range. They pen anything aside from another gk. Don't sleep on it. But it still needs some love.

I think some of the older legendaries need bringing up too speed as they were used to fighting bismarck, Iowa and Amagi’s now they are against some of the fast fire battle ships and even better fire spamming cruisers

Pommern definitely needs a buff, the Brandenburg is better than it in every way and it’s a tier lower doesn’t make sense. Gk (like Tirpitz) just needs it’s better secondary range.

​​@@freddyfox5002 no but even with hyde they're quite underwhelming, there's several different aspects such as their mediocre secondary range that doesnt help in riskvsreward scenario, pommerns brute guns that have a horrible reload and 1.5 sigma, the 2 ships horrible damage control duration (8 seconds or something) and sonar that only lasts a minute while the battlecruisers have sonar that lasts twice as long in most cases, GK has fallen to be mostly outdated and pommern while a usable ship has several issues that need a reasonable buff

@@freddyfox5002 oh you Don't have them, as for the buff, there was a specific set of penetration values that got changed in the patch, the larger selection of German secondarys the 150mm guns now do full penetration to 38mm of plating which is good because that means there's more ships who's external armour plating you can do full secondary pens to, then the 128mm secondarys (which are most notable to be on GK but then less relevantly on gneisenau) they now do full penetrations to 32mm of plating which means that say, for example, if a battleship has a 32mm plated bow (which is the main armour threshold at high tier) then those HE shells can do penetrations to the bow leading to much more damage, other than that there were no range or accuracy buffs.

Not gonna lie, this thing is a beast. Tried it on my whale friend's account, and it was nothing but absolute steamrolling of the opposition. Combine the Schlieffen with a CC or DD that will cover it against DD harassment and this ship will win you matches easily. Played it in a Division with my other friend who played Des Moine to support me and it was an easy win. Had 4 kills while my friend got 2. Just like how you're supposed to play German BBs, you're *NOT SUPPOSED* to push early on, you only do so after 4-5 minutes. Like all German BBs, this monstrosity shines best at mid to late game, when everyone is already out about around the map, ripe for the taking with an aggressive push.

​@@TomTheSurgen1 I don't blame you. He has a friend in WG that can get him a ship loan, but only for a day (it helps to know someone in WG), dunno how he got this arrangement though. You wouldn't believe it unless you see it for yourself. Doesn't matter though that it was for a day only, he's already about to get the ship again around the 1st to 2nd week of April, he already dumped a ton of money for doubloon boosts just to get it again. It's just a matter of doing the daily trials now to get the ship as soon as possible.
