Could you please give some more explanation about the pinnacle-pinacolone rearrangement discussed here with strong and weak acid at 10:04 min.

Match the following discussed in 14:27 min, the answer given seems wrong, since the oxidation of ketone to form ester using H2O2 is known as Dakin reaction where as reaction uses per acids is known as B-V oxidation.. if I am correct give a like.

Dakin reaction is oxidation of aryl aldehydes and ketones to PHENOLS with hydrogen peroxide in the presence of a base.

@@drgajapathyschemistryclass4773 thank you for your response. But when the presence of strong base such as NaOH, we cannot stop the reaction at ester stage. So it cannot called as B-V oxidation also. Hope I am correct. Looking forward your reply.
