What nadia said was so on point. Sahil can't blame his family for what he chose to do. He was presented with the example of both his mother and father and he chose to follow his father's footsteps cuz it felt appealing to him. The choices we make in life define us as a person.

@@MeemBaay111 of course it's relevant but a criminal can't put all the blame of his own act on his parents' tarbiyat. Sometimes good children come out of bad parenting too. Allah has granted us all with aql e saleem. We need to analyze every aspect and then choose to act. But I do think here that the father and the inspector friend should have punished by the court as well cuz they were accomplices to Sahil's crimes. Even though the father thought Sahil was mentally ill, hiding a crime and suppressing the victims is punishable.

exactly. that follow up was a necessity. yes, the parents are definitely at fault but sahil could easily differentiate between right and wrong as an adult. this "tumne wahi raasta chuna jis se tumhe taskeen mile" ended any argument that criminal and sinner sahil was trying to put in his defense. I appreciate your comment as well for highlighting this part.

Children from dysfunctional homes are always become broken..all parents must remember that, children look upto them.. if they are not well put together then how could children become a decent socially aware full person.. they learn to give respect to mankind from parents they learn Life's lesson from home if home is dysfunctional then children become dysfunctional..often they become psychologically crippled.. having children is easy but raising them is a hard and responsible job.. hope we all learned something from this drama..

HATS OFF TO TEAM PHAANS...REALLY REALLY REALLY liked the last episode There were no loose ends .... Every character learnt their lesson Every character had a logical and rational realistic end The reunions the realizations the regrets ....all had been shown with powerful dialogues Became a fan of ZAARA after this show....she literally became ZEBA Sami was our only hope as SAMAD from the very beginning...from the first epi when he offered ZEBA his notes to their whole journey of trust respect dependence and then love was shown so organically...Sami underplayed Sami without dramatizing the character much and it added a lot of value to portray SAMAD..I never thought just two people standing apart and talking can have so much chemistry.....I really want to see Sami ZAARA in another show Sahils mom and dad were excellent....so was shehzaad as Sahil.... The screenplay dialogues direction supporting cast production value were all good

I don't know why but I felt really bad for Arsala and Siraj. Arsala was completely innocent and as for Siraj...well, yes he tried to hide the proofs and supported Sahil when he knew the truth, but his expressions when he realized that his son was mentally normal, were heartbreaking💔💔. Hats off to Ali Tahir for playing Siraj with such perfection that it's impossible to see anyone else in this role❤❤.

The message I got through drama is that we have wrongly normalized that mothers/parents should always morally support their kids whatsoever. No, parents do not have to do so. Before being a parent you are first a responsible citizen. You can't be a good parent if you are not fulfilling your other societal responsibilities. The balance of societies is shaken also because kids are always supported at wrong times and places.

All the scenes between Sami Ji and Zara Ji are beautiful. They are both highly accomplished actors and their relationship is so effortless portrayed onscreen by the both of them. Their chemistry is evident right from the start. I agree with you, no one will easily forget Samad, the character is the perfect man, it's not that he doesn't make mistakes it's that right or wrong he can stand in his truth. Sami Ji renders him with such a light touch. He must be a very unselfish actor or I think he either wouldn't have taken the part or would have amplified it more.
