LOL I taped it off the radio when I was 13 too, then in 1998 as I was crate digging I see this very cover (it's a reprint, but good quality) and went WHOHOOO THIS IS IT!!! myself :) I've been putting it into 70-80s sets and electronic sets since (it raises a few eyebrows in electronics sets but IDGAF)

Frank Perez House music was actually born from italo disco and hi nrg records that were being deconstructed for their raw sound. First house records were very similar in sound and played along with tracks like this one.
