I still don't like to think Phaeleh makes "Dubstep" dubstep is such a dirty word for something as deep and emotional as this. This man is a muscal genius!

I know this comment is 11 years old but, where is the implication of dubstep anywhere in this song?

So Far Away is now 10 years old….this is the best Phaeleh track of all time…just the nostalgia makes this very emotional for me…this was a melodic Dubstep track like no other…especially the part at 1:50 that will never get boring for me! This was ahead of its time! God I miss Phaeleh like seriously where did this artist go?

Lyrics: I worship you, hurting without shame. I worship you, worship you. I worship you, hurting without shame. I worship you, I ohhh ohh... 🎶 My Interpretation: This song is about a Christian who is worshipping God in the midst of their painful trials in this life while looking unto Jesus Christ for eternal salvation and redemption. I hope this comment helps someone to worship Jesus, though they are hurting, yet they will be without shame at the resurrection as this song reminds us... As a Christian struggling with the pains and pressures of life right now, I find some encouragement in this song because it reminds me of a short book in the Bible called 1 Peter which was written to the Church (true believers in Jesus) who were dispersed among different geographical locations. In this book, the Apostle Peter encourages believers to continue to trust the LORD even while being persecuted and suffering through obedience to God while looking to the glory that will follow in the age to come just as Jesus Christ experienced and has set this example for us that we should follow Him and have eternal life. 1 Peter 4:12-13 "Beloved, do be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ's sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when His glory is revealed." 1 Peter 5:4 "and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away." 1 John 3:1-3 "Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore, the world does not know us because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure." Romans 8:1-2 "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death." Hebrews 12:1-2 "Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." Again, I hope this comment helps someone to despise the shame associated with the trials they suffer while they worship Jesus, the King of glory who will raise us up together with Him in glory at the resurrection on the appointed day. For everyone who puts their faith (trust) in Jesus Christ will not be put to shame in that day! Romans 1:16-17 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it, the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith." For those who don't know Jesus: Jesus is the Christ (Messiah), the Son of God who is LORD over all creation. This long-awaited Messiah had been prophesied to come redeem humanity and restore our relationship with God since the creation account in the book of Genesis and all throughout history by the mouths of His prophets. And indeed, He came just as it was spoken of Him and He will come again just as He promised because He is faithful and true. About 2,000 years ago Jesus came to Earth from Heaven through a virgin birth and lived His righteous life on earth being faithful and fully obedient to God His Father as the "Suffering Servant," teaching people to love and obey God and love others as themselves. At the age of 33 years old, this sinless, Divine-Human Jesus rose to Heaven from Earth after His sacrificial death on the cross was accomplished and accepted- being recieved by God as the "pure and perfect sacrifice" for sin once for all. Not many days after His ascension into Heaven, Jesus briefly visited His disciples to commission them to make disciples of all peoples, baptizing and teaching them to observe all the things Jesus commanded them until He returns again, this time as the "Conquering King" rather than the "Suffering Servant" as before. He gives His Holy Spirit to those who believe in Him which is His guarantee to them that He will return again and make all things new. His return will be for His bride, which is the Church, the collection of people that love Him, believe Him, trust Him, obey Him, and follow Him with perseverance. Lastly, He has appointed a day in which He will righteously judge the living and the dead, both small and great according to their deeds, whether good or bad. On that day, He will separate the wicked from the righteous and cast them into hellfire to be eternally destroyed along with sin and death, but He will gather the righteous to Himself and give them eternal life. He will destroy heaven and earth which has been cursed due to humanity's sin against God and He will create a new heaven and a new earth without the presence of sin. Then He will establish His everlasting kingdom and rule with the scepter of righteousness, and of His government and peace there shall be no end.

+Ry Hartley Essentially it's just chilled dubstep
@iCrapBubbles9 жыл бұрын
Dubstep is supposed to be chill anyway as it's a subgenre of dub, 'chillstep' is essentially early dubstep with some strings.. :/ Sorry.
@OfficialHorton9 жыл бұрын
+Ry Hartley Dubstep is not a subgenre of Dub. It is fundamentally different! Dubstep was inspired by dub of course, but it has evolved into something completely different. 'Chillstep' isn't really a genre to be honest, it is just what people called chilled-out liquid dubstep.
@iCrapBubbles9 жыл бұрын
Horton It is a subgenre of dub, just because something evolved and modernised into something a different doesn't mean it's roots completely disappear. No, it's mainly called 'melodic dubstep' or 'future house.' Chillstep was just a stupid thing that came around when people were just making genres out of their asses to try and be 'original' and didn't really think it through. Anyone who disagrees with that is just butthurt. I'm sorry but that's just my opinion.

You can literally NEVER go wrong with a Phaeleh track, he's one of the most versatile current producers, though this I find to fit more with bit drum-n-bass. Not to get into the bullshit arguments over genres, I would have just expected this to be on your other channel instead.
