I have it with heatwave and shifter and it works well when it feels like it and if you go first and with a good hand. It's super inconsistent and the truth is that any tier 1 doesn't do anything to it because the interaction in the trap field is almost zero because they avoid it (call it snake-eye, fire king, labrynth, etc.). I use it from time to time but in 5 games it is possible that you will lose all 5 (either due to a bad hand or because they have a way to evade your entire field), against other decks if it prevails and for diamond 5 it is fine

Pretty much anything. They're flex spots as Morganite is just there for more draw each turn since you're not running handtraps. If you remove those you can stick Maxx C in if you have it, or Ash Blossom, or really any other handtrap you want.

You can add more planet pathfinder to search for the field spell, you can play shifter, ash blossom, imperm… this deck is really budget friendly and you can climb to diamond with it
