anisocoro Egypt using electrical realway line in metro from1984 and its extended now until become the largest in africa for underground electrical realway but this locomotive we still using the antiont line s in worled it will take bige coast to chang it to totally electrical and it will take time also but the new in cairo all electrical and also we us e elactrical train from 1945 in cairo under name is tram cairo tram and alexandria tram

The first diesel tractor and the latest diesel generate electricity (Egyptian Mido)

The last car is called Power Unit. It generates required power for the train cars air conditioning and other electricity dependent stuff for the cars. It is not responsible for any pull power.

Exelent video,those trains are weird,i think the health and safety factor has been thrown through the window on that one,traveling with doors open boy i would like to see that happen in this country............John
