I agree it does not matter how or when you discovered the band; only that you feel a deep emotional connection to their lyrics and music. This has to be my favorite song this year; it reminds me of my mother who was sick for a long time and passed away recently. When I listen to it I feel it's okay to feel pure raw emotion and let it all out by singing and dancing along. :)
