"Fuck yeah! That's the take guys. ...We just found our closer. No need to redo it. That goes on the album as is." It's an amazing feeling as a musician to capture this live in the studio, and an amazing experience as a Phantogram fan to hear. Best song on a great album.

I deeply and truly appreciated how she/they didn't just gloss over it, but really gave us the respect as not just fans but friends, and let us know exactly what she/they went through and were going through. It really meant a lot to me. May Sarah and all affected by that tragedy find healing.

So, I found out an interesting fact that hit me a little hard just a bit ago. A day before my brother lost his life, I found this song. I listened to it a few times throughout that day, because I was so scared for for my brother... and it brought me a sense of comfort. When his sun finally set, I listened to this one song for the entire day. Maybe I was just in shock, or maybe I felt like the song resonated with the way that I was bleeding... Come to find out, Sarah wrote this song after her sister passed. And now, I appreciate it that much more.

I just want to say I love phantogram. I remember being 19 working at Walmart 8 years ago - which I loathed - and being on break clinging on to the excitement of their upcoming concert at festival pier in philadelphia. I was so excited the day of the concert. I made friends in the line and the band played through a light misty rain which never fully developed. The band also played with twin shadow who had a great set. It's the same condition of that day that reminds me of life and the beauty of music. You can see the rainy days coming, but there are ceremonies and rituals to get you through. In the end there is only mist, a memory of something that never fully formed into the devastation or beauty you expected. I used to always go to concerts alone and thought maybe I'd meet a cute girl, it never happened but I'm happy I had the heart to live my truth. I remember two years later I went to see phantogram in Philly, I had a gf who never cared to go with me to the show. I met a girl there and all I remember is she told me it was better to eat oranges instead of drinking orange juice because real oranges had fiber and didn't cause sugar spikes. As the lyrics say "...be good, just have fun". All you can do is brace yourself and face life with equal temperament of whatever is plaguing or disappointing you. If you do that, then every storm is only mist, a sort of ceremony. "Hang back, hang back, get past it". Of course, I now barely drink sugary beverages, and I won't ever fall into love again.

How crazy it feels when each of us gets here, feeling like we discovered something epic/are experiencing epiphany .And yet, the world knows already the story, ears have heard already this song. the life goes on. We dont realise how overwhelming is life with its greatness. I mean, all we just came up with , this feeling of "wow, fuck this is great"-it's been here all this time. I feel deep pain when i think about how unknown is Phantogram to introverts and all people that need this special spiritual indulgement..... i hope Phantogram gets all the credit one day. i believe there is a power in this world that makes it even after all, such a noise, such a melody, what an epic experience !!!!
